Hauppauge, Freeport-Based Payroll Companies Merge

A Freeport-based payroll and tax processing provider has merged with Associated Payroll Consultants of Hauppauge.

According to a newsli.com report, the independently owned and operated payroll and tax processing provider Advantage Payroll Services merged with the Hauppauge-based company March 1. The merger, according to the report, was put together for to meet the ever-changing needs of clients and to give Advantage Payroll Services a larger service area and presence throughout Long Island.

“We recognize that customers have a choice when they select a new payroll service provider or decide to stay with the one that they are working with today," previous partner at Associated Payroll Consultants Bernard Soto told newsli.com. "We have built trusted relationships with our clients over the years and we are certain that they will continue to be well served in the years to come. Clients will quickly see the value in the combined strengths of both companies."

The report states that the newly merged company would be able to help clients find solutions, to help client employees with benefits and support client growth initiatives, and the Hauppauge office located at 700 Veterans Memorial Highway in Suite 302 in would stay open.
