Hauppauge HS Performers Inspire Middle Schoolers With Showcase

Middle schoolers got to see what artistic opportunities await in high school, as students performed theater and dance routines.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Hauppauge High School’s theater and dance students recently visited Hauppauge Middle School for a special showcase performance, providing a glimpse into the performing arts opportunities available at the high school, the school district announced.

The high school musical theater students wowed the audience of middle schoolers with songs from popular productions, including “Pippin,” “Mamma Mia” and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”

Additionally, dancers from the Dance I, II, and IB Dance classes performed dynamic routines in styles ranging from hip hop to jazz.

The event allowed middle school students to get a sneak peek at the variety of artistic opportunities awaiting them in high school.
