Blue Angels To Headline 2026 Jones Beach Air Show
The air show will take place on Jul. 5 and 6, 2026, as part of the United States' Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) celebrations.
WANTAGH, NY. — The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will return to the skies above Jones Beach next July as they headline the 2026 FourLeaf Air Show, according to a Tuesday announcement.
The joint announcement was made by sponsor FourLeaf Federal Credit Union and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The air show is scheduled for Sunday, Jul. 5, 2026 and Monday, Jul. 6, 2026, with a practice session scheduled for Friday, Jul. 3. On Independence Day itself, Saturday, Jul. 4, beachgoers will be treated to the annual Jones Beach Fireworks Spectacular.
“The 2026 FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach will be a spectacular tribute to America’s 250 years of freedom, courage, and innovation,” FourLeaf Federal Credit Union President and CEO Linda Armyn said. “We’re proud to continue a tradition that unites families, honors those who serve, and reminds us all what it means to be part of this great nation. With the Blue Angels leading an all-star lineup of military and civilian performers, we’re excited to present a thrilling air show showcasing the very best of American excellence.”

While the Blue Angels are scheduled to headline, the air show will also feature the U.S. Army Golden Knights’ parachute team and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, as well as several civilian air teams including the American Airpower Museum Warbirds and the Farmingdale State College Flying Rams. The full lineup, organizers said Tuesday, will be updated as the air show draws closer.
“The FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach is one of the most anticipated events of the summer, and this year’s celebration will be our biggest and most meaningful yet. It’s a chance for families to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, honor our heroes, and enjoy an unforgettable display of aviation excellence right here on Long Island,” Regional Director of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation George Gorman said.
The Blue Angels headlined the first air show at Jones Beach 21 years ago, headlining 10 more times between then and their last performance in 2024. That 2024 performance, organizers said, was visited by 459,000 people over three days.
