HAUPPAUGE, NY — The Hauppauge High School pep band, kickline and color guard kicked off their annual weeklong summer camp on Monday in preparation for a busy fall performance season, the school district announced.

Under the direction of band director Andrew Monsen, students in grades nine through 12 came together to rehearse marching drills and the musical selections for this year’s show. The instrumentalists, drumline, kickline and color guard enthusiastically practiced a setlist featuring classic hits by Stevie Wonder.

Throughout the fall, the group will maintain a regular rehearsal schedule and showcase their talents during home football games, including the highly anticipated homecoming game and the annual Kicks for Cancer event.
