Walmart's Islandia location was evacuated on Tuesday for close to three hours after a suspicious package was found, according to a report published in Newsday.
Suffolk police deemed the package harmless after determining it contained only clothing, not a dangerous device, according to Newsday.
The store reopened at 4:30 p.m.
