Last Chance: Get Some Networking Pointers
Whether it's virtually or in-person, networking is a vital part of getting your name out there. Need some pointers?
As the old saying goes, it's not what you know - it's who you know.
With that in mind, job-seekers take note: Thursday at the Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center in Commack, two seminars are being held to help out those looking to network.
At 10:30, "How to Network a Room" will be held, followed by a seminar on how to use the social networking site LinkedIn. Two completely different ways of marketing yourself and getting your name out there.
