Long Island Bluegrass Festival Hits Tanner Park on Aug. 16

On Aug. 16, the Long Island Bluegrass Festival will be held from noon to 7 p.m. at Tanner Park in Copiague.

Presented by the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts, the Town of Babylon and the Bluegrass Club of Long Island, the festival will offer traditional bluegrass music, children’s activities, workshops, vendors, food and more.

General admission is $15, $10 for BACCA members, seniors over 60, children 8-12 and disabled people, and free for children under seven. Parking will be free and it’s recommended that you bring a lawn chair. No alcohol or pets will be permitted.
