Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Hauppauge Crash: Police

The man lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a fence, police say.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Hauppauge on Saturday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

A 36-year-old Hauppauge man was riding a 2021 Yamaha motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a fence on Robin Drive around 4:50 p.m., police said. The man suffered serious injuries and was brought to Stony Brook University Hospital by Commack Rescue ambulance, police said.

The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Fourth Squad at 631- 854-8452.
