Thunderstorms, Locker Decorations and More on Tuesday in Happauge

Good morning, Hauppauge. Remember, it's Tuesday, not Monday, and we're looking at a shortened work week. Here are a few things to keep in mind today:

- More than a quarter-inch of rain has already fallen in the area, according to Weather.com, and this afternoon may see some more scattered thunder showers. A high of 81 degrees is expected but will drop down to 63 degrees and cloudy weather later tonight.

- At 6 p.m. at Hauppauge Public Library, a locker decorating craft session will be held for kids entering grades six through twelve. Call the library at 631-979-1600 for more information.
