Driver Dies After Crashing into Hauppauge Building

A driver was fatally injured early Wednesday morning in Hauppauge, after crashing into a brick building.

According to police, Peter Fedden was operating a 2008 Honda eastbound on Commerce Drive when he failed to stop at an intersection and crashed into a building, located at 159 Adams Blvd. at approximately 12:10 a.m. 

Fedden, 29, was the owner of Commack Breakfast, a popular sandwich shop among locals.

P.F. Chang's to Open in November

P.F. Chang's is slated to open Nov. 4 at the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.

The Lake Grove site will be P.F. Chang's second Long Island location. The other is at The Source Mall in Westbury.

A mosquito collected between July 16 and July 17 taken from Nesconset tested positive for West Nile Virus.
