Highest Infinity Pool In Western Hemisphere Coming To Brooklyn
The Brooklyn Point in Downtown Brooklyn will have an infinity pool on top of the planned 68-story building, developers said.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, NY — The highest infinity pool in the Western Hemisphere will be built on the rooftop of an under-construction 68-story luxury condo building in Downtown Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn Point, at 138 Willoughby St., will have the pool installed on top of its 720-foot tall luxury tower, which will be the tallest building in Brooklyn when it's completed, developer Extell announced this week.
The heated pool will be nearly 100-feet higher than the one at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore and will be open from the spring until the fall, developers Extell said. Brooklyn Point's rooftop will also have a sundeck, outdoor dining area, changing rooms, space for film screenings and a "stargazing" observatory.

The residential tower will have 458-units inside with studios expected to start at $840,000 and prices climbing all the way up to $4 million for three-bedroom apartments. The developer plans to start sales of homes in March.

Aside from the rooftop pool, the development will also have exercise studios, laundry rooms, a fire pit terrace, a hot tub, a sauna and more. The ground-floor of the project will have retail space leased by Trader Joe's, DeKalb Market Hall, Target, Century 21 and the Alamo Drafthouse, developers said.
