2 Women Charged With Prostitution At Hicksville Spa: Police

HICKSVILLE, NY — Two Flushing women were arrested on Friday afternoon for prostitution and illegal massages out of a Hicksville shop, police said.

An investigation revealed that Tao Zhao, 44, and Na Cao, 35, were operating the illegal operation in the basement of Sweet Spa on Broadway, police said.

They were placed under arrest without incident, police said.

It was also determined that they are in the U.S. illegally and subject to remove proceedings. police said.

The women were charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession, authorities said. They were released on appearance tickets and taken into custody by U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement agents.
