Jewelry Display Cases Shattered, Items Stolen From Mall: Police

HICKSVILLE, NY — A man is sought in connection to a Broadway Mall burglary on Sunday evening.

The unknown man, dressed in all black with a face covering, entered the mall just after 9 p.m. and headed to the Ailin jewelry booth.

A security officer noticed the man strike multiple display cases with an object and remove merchandise, police said.

He fled the mall in an unknown direction.
