Firefighters Extinguish Propane Tank Fire In Hicksville
The fire broke out on Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters put out a propane tank fire on Thursday afternoon in Hicksville.
According to fire officials, Hicksville firefighters responded to the fire on Spruce Street at 4:28 p.m. The 20-pound propane tank was extinguished, but continued to leak.
The Hicksville Fire Department Hazardous Materials Technicians responded and burned the remaining propane off without incident.
