Fundraiser Started For Nassau Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run
Friends have created the fundraiser to help the family of 43-year-old Nayi Harsida, who was killed in a hit-and-run last week.

WESTBURY, NY — A fundraiser has been created to help the family of a Westbury woman who was killed in a hit-and-run in Hicksville last week.
Police say that 43-year-old Nayi Harsida was hit by a vehicle and left for dead on Stewart Avenue, east of Levittown Parkway, in Hicksville on the night of Nov. 26.
Friends of the family have come together to create a GoFundMe campaign for Harsida's family. She leaves behind a husband and son.

According to the GoFundMe page, Harsida was a recent immigrant to the United States who wanted to build a better life for her family.

Police have not yet arrested anyone for her death. Anyone with information about this hit-and-run is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
