Hicksville 3-Vehicle Crash: 3 Hurt; Lanes Closed, Traffic Snarled
BREAKING: Officials say the crash happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

HICKSVILLE, NY — Three people were hurt in a three-car crash in Hicksville that caused a fluid spill and lane closures. The Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department and Nassau County Police officers arrived at the crash around 1 p.m. Wednesday near North Broadway and Bethpage Road, officials told Patch.
Nassau police ambulances rushed two people to a hospital and a third was taken by Hicksville Ambulance. Firefighters used an engine to apply a spill absorbent to fluid spills on the roadway, officials said. Two northbound lanes of North Broadway were closed while crews worked, creating traffic headaches.
Photos taken at the scene showed a black sedan smashed into the back of a blue-green minivan, which hit a larger white utility van belonging to a plumbing and heating company.
