HICKSVILLE, NY — Three people were hurt over the weekend in a three-vehicle crash in Hicksville that happened across the street from the scene of a crash last month in which an SUV crashed into a home.

Hicksville firefighters and Nassau County police officers were sent to the crash at Woodbury and Bethpage roads around 11 a.m. Sunday. Two cars smashed into a utility pole and three people suffered minor injuries. Woodbury Road was closed until a Town of Oyster Bay sander could coat the slippery roadway with sand, officials said.

In November, an SUV crashed into a home across the street that remains boarded up.
