Hicksville Chick-Fil-A Hit By Car In 3-Vehicle Crash; 3 Hurt

HICKSVILLE, NY — Three people were hurt Sunday night in a three-car crash in Hicksville in which an SUV smashed into a Chick-fil-A restaurant.

Firefighters were called around 6 p.m. Sunday to the restaurant on Broadway Mall. Two vehicles had left the roadway and a third had crashed into the building, officials said. Three people suffered minor injuries.

Firefighters went into building to see if there was any damage. The Building Department was also called to inspect the damage.

Officials initially said deep-fryers and a gas line were knocked from the wall, though the restaurant later said that was not the case.
