Hicksville Library Kicks Off Summer Reading With Various Activities

It takes place on Saturday, June 15.

HICKSVILLE, NY — The Hicksville Public Library is kicking off the Summer Reading Program.

All ages are invited for the Saturday, June 15 event.

A "Music with Bluey" program at 10 a.m. gets it started for children.

Food, music, crafts and games will line the library, including "Groove Kat Live!" at 2 p.m. The library's first outdoor concert is set for the library's courtyard. However, in case of rain, it will get moved indoors.

Children and teens can experience a gaming truck at 2:30 p.m. The library says it's open to Hicksville residents only where they will enjoy current and vintage games.
