Man Gets Arm, Leg Stuck In Industrial Grinder In Hicksville

A man is in critical condition after he got his arm and leg stuck in an industrial grinder machine on Tuesday afternoon in Hicksville, police say.

According to authorities, the 30-year-old man was operating an industrial grinder when he accidentally got his left arm and right leg stuck in the machine at Spice Specialist, located at 47 Bloomingdale Road, around 1:40 p.m.

He was freed from the grinder and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. He received treatment for his injuries and is listed in critical condition.
