Man Robbed, Attacked With Knife Wile Walking In Nassau: Police

Police say three men robbed him, then one pulled out a knife and slashed him.

HICKSVILLE, NY — A man was attacked with a knife after being robbed while walking in Hicksville early Saturday morning, Nassau County police said.

According to police, a 36-year-old man was walking on Millwood Gate, near the intersection of South Broadway, around 2 a.m. on Oct. 22 when he was approached by three unknown men.

The men demanded the victim give them his money, and he gave them about $100.

One of the men then pulled out a knife and slashed the victim on his left wrist before the three fled on foot north on South Broadway.

The victim suffered a minor cut on his wrist and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police did not release a description of any of the men wanted for the robbery. But anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
