Men Stab Each Other With Same Knife In Westbury: PD
One man was accidentally stabbed in the chest, while the other man had a knife thrown at his face, police say.

A man threw a knife in the face man who accidentally stabbed him in the chest with the same knife in Westbury on Tuesday night, police say.
According to authorities, five men were inside a Pleasant Avenue home when two men became involved in a verbal argument at 3 a.m. The argument became physical when the men went outside. One of the men, 44-year-old Westbury man Saul Zavata, tried to stab the other man, but instead stabbed 34-year-old Westbury resident Jose Israel Bonilla, who came out of the house in an attempt to break up the fight, police say.
Bonilla then picked up the knife and threw it at Zavata, striking him in the face. Zavata suffered a laceration and a fractured jaw as a result of the initial argument.

Zavata suffered punctured wounds to his chest.
Both men were arrested and taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries. They are being charged with second-degree assault and will be arraigned when medically practical. The investigation is ongoing.
