The show will benefit the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum.
HICKSVILLE, NY — Trainville Hobby Depot in Hicksville will be hosting a model train show on Nov. 19 and 20 at the Hicksville Community Center.
The show is a partnership between Trainville Hobby Depot and the Town of Oyster Bay, and will feature operating model layouts coordinated by Trainville. The show will be open both days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the community center, located at 28 West Carl Street in Hicksville. Donations will support the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum.
"We are pleased to partner with Trainville Hobby Depot, who coordinates or participates in many hobby shows that benefit the fundraising efforts of a sponsoring organization," said Town Clerk Richard LaMarca. "Assisting groups that not only bring a fun and educational experience to residents of all ages, but also help preserve our history in understanding the railroad's role in our heritage, is a great cause."
