Nassau Man Burglarized Multiple Businesses Across The County: Police
Police say he burglarized some businesses multiple times over the last few months.

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — A Nassau County man was arrested Tuesday and charged with multiple burglaries across the county, Nassau police said.
According to police, Scott Gilmor, 45, of Hicksville, was responsible for multiple burglaries across the county, most of which happened within the last month.

- April 16: Unicorn Graphics, 971 Stewart Ave., East Garden City
- May 2: Yay Scrubs, 451 Old Country Road, Westbury
- Aug. 19: Yay Scrubs, 451 Old Country Road, Westbury
- Aug. 20: Convenience and Smoke Shop, 2125 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow
- Aug. 21: Unicorn Graphics, 971 Stewart Ave., East Garden City
- Aug. 22: Road Ready Auto Repair Shop, 2786 N. Jerusalem Road, North Bellmore
- Aug. 23: Raceway Deli, 548 Westbury Ave., Carle Place
Police say an investigation led them to Hempstead, where Gilmor was arrested without incident.
He is charged with seven counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree criminal mischief and six counts of possession of burglar tools. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police say that Gilmor was previously arrested on May 18 and charged with third-degree burglary, and on Aug. 9 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and obstructing governmental administration. He was released without bail on both occasions.
