Teen Airlifted; 2 Women Injured After Dog Bites In Nassau: Police
The teenage girl suffered facial injuries, as two dogs were involved in three people being injured, police say.
HICKSVILLE, NY — A teenage girl was airlifted to a hospital, and two more women were injured, in connection with dog bites in Hicksville on Tuesday afternoon, Nassau police said.
Officers were called to Lantern Road for a report of a dog bite around 12:20 p.m., police said. Two dogs were involved in injuring two women and a teenager, police said. The dogs were secured and animal control is responding to assist with them, police said.
The two women were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of leg injuries, police said. The teenager was airlifted to another hospital for treatment of facial injuries, police said.
