More entertainment is coming to Long Island, as the New York Comedy Festival will venture into Nassau County when the week-long event takes place in November.
John Mulaney will headline the UBS Arena on Nov. 11.
Caroline Hirsch, one of the founders of the festival, and owner of Caroline's Comedy Club, said they plan to continue expanding venues in the future.
"We're looking to branch out," Hirsch told Patch AM.
In the city, the festival, now in its 18th year, will have A-list comics including Bill Maher at the Hulu Theater, Conan O'Brien at the Beacon Theater and JB Smoove at Town Hall.
More than 200 comedians will perform from Nov. 7-13.
"In the next few weeks, we will be announcing more of the smaller shows that'll be around the five boroughs," she said.
