Westbury Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

A masked man robbed a Westbury gas station at gunpoint on Monday morning, police say.

According to authorities, the man entered Conco gas station, located at 495 Union Ave., approached the clerk and demanded money at 12:18 a.m. The clerk complied with the demand and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber fled the scene northbound on Union Avenue on foot.

No injuries were reported.

Police described the robber as black, approximately 6 feet tall, thin and wearing a black mask with a black hooded sweat jacket.
