• Car slams into Tammy's Candy Kettle, driver seriously hurt (tapinto.net) — A serious crash on NY Route 7 has forced Tammy’s Candy Kettle, a long-time Hoosick business, to close indefinitely after a car slammed into the building and seriously injured the driver. Owner Tammy Morgan says major repairs are needed, but she plans to reopen, and neighbors have already raised nearly $6,000 through GoFundMe to help the family recover.
