To celebrate the winter launch for a limited time, the airline is offering special $49 one-way fares for flights between ISP and these Florida destinations, available online only on jetblue.com.

"Florida continues to be a place JetBlue’s unique combination of low fares and great service resonates, and we’re proud to grow our footprint with these new destinations to meet customer demand for more of the Sunshine State," said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president, network planning and airline partnerships. "Whether it’s customers in the Northeast looking for a warm getaway or Floridians traveling north, we’re excited to bring more choices and better service to these markets."

JetBlue already offers nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and West Palm Beach from Long Island.

In October 2024, JetBlue started flying daily between Islip and Orlando, between Islip and Fort Lauderdale, and between Islip and Palm Beach, all four times a week.

Breeze Airways started flying twice weekly out of MacArthur to and from Fort Myers on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

MacArthur Airport has completed over $100 million in planning and capital projects since 2016, including the rehabilitation of airfield taxiway and runway surfaces, a Ground Transportation Center and Walkway, a Fire Rescue Building, and is nearing completion on significant Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing capital improvements.

"MacArthur Airport is already an economic engine for Long Island, and its continued expansion with 18 nonstop destinations and four major air carriers is a result of the tireless dedication of Supervisor Carpenter and Commissioner LaRose Arken to see their vision for the airport become a reality. The Long Island Association will continue to partner with them to ensure our region can maximize the economic opportunities of this special," said Matt Cohen President and Executive Officer Long Island Association.
