Police Identify Man Found Dead, Bound In Jackson Heights
The NYPD determined that the mysterious death of a 56-year-old man in his Jackson Heights home was a homicide.
JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS — Police have identified a man mysteriously found dead in his Jackson Heights home in February as 56-year-old Rafael Huertas.
Police on Feb. 9 found Huertas dead and bound in a sixth-floor apartment in 37-41 79th St., the New York Post reported. Investigators have since ruled that his death was a homicide.
Huertas was covered by a plastic sheet and surrounded by drug paraphernalia when first responders found him, according to the New York Daily News.
