Bomb Threat at JFK Prompts Brief Terminal Evacuation: Authorities
A passenger made the verbal bomb threat at a TSA screening point early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

QUEENS, NY -- A terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport was briefly evacuated after a passenger made a verbal bomb threat early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The man was arrested when he made the bomb threat at a TSA screening point shortly after midnight, said Port Authority of New York and New Jersey officials.
Terminal 4 departures were shut down at the airport while NYPD emergency service and K-9 units swept the area and the man's property until the threat was cleared at about 2 a.m. Authorities said nothing was found.

The suspect, who officials described as "emotionally disturbed," was charged with making terroristic threats and trespassing.
