Burglar Steals $3K From Queens Hindu Temple Collection Box: NYPD
The thief broke into the Richmond Hill temple through a side door, police say.

RICHMOND HILL, QUEENS -- Police are searching for the thief who broke into a Queens Hindu temple and stole $3,000 from its collection box.
The crook broke into Tulsi Mandir, located at 103-24 111th St., through a side door of the worship space in Richmond Hill at around 3:30 p.m. on April 24, police said.
Once inside, he snatched the donation money from a collection box and then fled in an unknown direction, cops said.

The NYPD released surveillance photos of the perp on Friday.
