Burglar Steals Jewelry, Coins From Queens Woman's Home: NYPD

The thief broke into the 50-year-old woman's Ozone Park home through a kitchen window, police said.

OZONE PARK, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a burglar who broke into a 50-year-old woman's Ozone Park home and stole her jewelry.

The perp forced his way into the woman's home near 103rd Street and Liberty Avenue through a kitchen window at around 2:40 a.m. on June 8, police said.

He snatched the woman's jewelry and silver coins before fleeing the home, running south on 103 Street, cops said.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the thief, who was last seen wearing a camouflaged shirt, light pants and dark sneakers.
