Motorcyclist Killed In Queens Hit And Run: NYPD
A 26-year-old driver from New Jersey was arrested shortly after he hit the motorcyclist on Laurelton Parkway and took off, police said.

ROSEDALE, QUEENS -- A 30-year-old motorcyclist was struck and killed Thursday morning by a hit-and-run driver in Queens, police said.
Keith Salley Jr. was riding his 2015 BMW motorcycle north on Laurelton Parkway at about 1:10 a.m. when he was hit by a grey Kia sedan near 133rd Avenue in Rosedale, authorities said.
The driver, identified as 26-year-old Kardeem Thomas, had been attempting to change lanes when he slammed into the motorcycle and sent Salley flying into the roadway, police said.

Medics rushed Salley to Franklin General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Thomas left the scene of the crash and was arrested a short ways away in Nassau County, police said.

The Irvington, New Jersey man was charged with a hit and run resulting in death.
