NYPD Lieutenant Arrested For Drunk Driving In Ozone Park
The off-duty lieutenant was busted after crashing into a parked car on Independence Day, police said.

OZONE PARK, QUEENS -- An off-duty NYPD lieutenant was busted for drunk driving in the early hours of Independence Day in Ozone Park, police said.
Sunil Singh, 38, was pulled over at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday after officers noticed him crash into a parked car on Rockaway Boulevard near 117th Street, cops said.
No one was injured in the crash, authorities said.

The lieutenant for Brooklyn's 79th precinct in Bed-Stuy was cuffed on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with ability impaired by alcohol and refusing to take a breathalyzer test.
Singh was previously dubbed "Cop of the Month" in 2008 for helping arrest a group of thieves who robbed a delivery truck in Canarsie, the Brooklyn Daily previously reported. At the time, he was a sergeant in Brooklyn's 69th precinct.
