Perp Cracks Man's Skull In Attack Outside Jamaica Bar: NYPD

A 50-year-old man was walking home from the XS Hookah Lounge when the perp punched him in the head, police said.

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- Police are searching for the perp who cracked a man's skull when he attacked him outside a hookah lounge in Jamaica.

The 50-year-old man was walking home from XS NYC at around 3 a.m. on May 27 when an unknown man walked up to him outside the hookah bar on Liberty Avenue and punched him in the head, cops said.

The blow knocked the man to the ground, causing him to hit his head on the pavement, police said. He was sent to Jamaica Hospital with a fractured skull.

The attacker fled west on Liberty Avenue. Police described him as a man with an athletic build and a goatee who stands about 6 feet tall and weighs roughly 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt and ripped jeans.
