Perp In Pajamas Wanted For Stealing Thousands In Queens Stickup

A man wearing electric blue pajama pants was one of two perps that stole roughly $2,800 from a man in South Ozone Park, police said.

SOUTH OZONE PARK, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a duo who chose comfort over style when they stole thousands of dollars of cash from a 55-year-old man during a South Ozone Park stickup.

The two perps, one of whom was wearing electric blue pajama pants, approached the man near 134 Street and Sutter Avenue on July 23 just before 4 p.m. with a black bag and pretended to have a gun in it, cops said.

They stole roughly $2,800 in cash from the man and ran off, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance footage Wednesday of the two men walking that day. One was last seen in a green T-shirt and his pajama bottoms, and the other in a grey T-shirt and basketball shorts.
