Queens Cop Arrested For Assaulting Boyfriend: NYPD
The NYPD officer was suspended without pay after punching her boyfriend in the head during an argument at her Jamaica home, police say.

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested on Sunday after punching her boyfriend in the head in her Jamaica home, police said.
Marcella Shamblee, 27, was cuffed at around 7:15 a.m. after she allegedly took a swing at her boyfriend during a heated argument, police said. She was charged with third-degree criminal assault.
Shamblee was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court and released later that morning. She will appear back in court on April 16.

Hours earlier, an NYPD administrative aide was arrested in Jamaica in a separate domestic dispute.
Imperia Davis, 23, was cuffed at around 1:45 a.m. after destroying a side-view mirror on her boyfriend's car during the fight on 90th Avenue and 184th Street, police said. She was charged with criminal mischief.

Both women were suspended from the NYPD without pay, a spokesperson confirmed.
