Queens Woman Found Dead In Tub May Have Been Strangled: NYPD
A medical examiner deemed the woman's September death a homicide Thursday after an autopsy showed internal injuries to her neck, cops say.

QUEENS VILLAGE, QUEENS -- A Queens woman found dead in her bathtub last fall may have been strangled to death, cops announced Thursday.
Cindy Boyle, 45, was found unconscious inside her Queens Village apartment just after midnight on Sept. 13, police said. Medics rushed her to Jamaica Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
A medical examiner on Wednesday deemed that death a homicide, police told Patch.

While Boyle's body appeared unharmed when cops found her, an autopsy later showed internal injuries around her neck area, suggesting she may have been choked to death, an NYPD spokesman said.
"If they deemed it a homicide, usually that's what it means, that somebody may have done that," the spokesman said.
