Robber Steals Thousands From Jamaica Bank, Police Say

The man made out with more than $4,000 in cash, police say.

JAMAICA, NY – A robber took off with more than $4,000 after targeting a Chase bank in Jamaica, police say.

The man entered the branch at 205-32 Linden Blvd. around 12:30 p.m. Oct. 26 and handed the teller a note asking for cash, police said. He was given $4,414.

Police released a photo of the suspect, who is described as around 25 years old and 140 pounds with brown eyes and a bandage on his nose, police said.
