St. Albans Drive-By Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, Police Say

The shots rang out from a gray sedan Tuesday night, police said.

ST. ALBANS, NY — A drive-by shooting in St. Albans left a man dead Tuesday night, police said. Cops found several shots had been fired from a gray four-door sedan at 118th Road and Farmers Boulevard when they responded to the scene around 9:20 p.m., the NYPD said.

The car fled south on Farmers Boulevard and the 34-year-old victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital with a gunshot wound to his torso, police said.

The man — identified Wednesday as Rhodd Khipplyn of Cambria Heights — succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital, the NYPD said.

No arrests have been made in the crime, police said.
