WATCH: Gunman Steals $23K In Stickup Of Jamaica Office

The armed robber was caught on tape pointing a gun at employees and demanding they tell him where the money was kept, police said.

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- An armed robber fled a Jamaica office with $23,000 after breaking into the building in broad daylight and threatening employees with a gun, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance footage showing a hoodie drawn tight over the man's head as he walked into the commercial space near 102 Avenue and Brisbin Street with a gun in hand at around 11:30 a.m. on May 4.

The perp pointed the gun at employees, demanding they show him where the office's money was kept, police said. He took the cash, along with two employees' cellphones, and fled the building.

Cops described the thief as a bald man standing at around 6-foot-2 and weighing around 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and carrying a black duffel bag.
