Woman Found Murdered In Her Springfield Gardens Bedroom: NYPD

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- A 29-year-old woman was found murdered in her Springfield Gardens home on Tuesday night, police said.

Samantha Stewart's brother discovered her battered body in the bedroom of her home on 145th Road near 167th Street at around 9:10 p.m., authorities said.

Stewart had cuts and bruising to her face and neck that were consistent with an assault, cops said. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Cops said her home showed no signs of forced entry.

No arrest have been made and an investigation into her death is ongoing.
