Back-to-School Nights
Kings Park Central School District will be hosting back-to-school nights at multiple buildings this week:
- RJO Intermediate School: Tuesday, Grade 4 at 6 p.m. and Grade 5 at 8 p.m.
- William T. Rogers Middle School: 7 p.m. Wednesday
- Kings Park High School: 6:30 p.m. Thursday
Open Contemporary Dance Class
Meet Teddy Tedholm, of "So You Think You Can Dance" for an Open Contemporary Dance Class at Kings Park Dance Center on Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. Class is $10.
118th Birthday of Chiropractics
Kings Park Chiropractice will be celebrating the 118th birthday of the chiropractic profession by offering an initial exam/consultation with a chiropractic spinal adjustment for $18 on Wednesday.
Smithtown Planning Board
The Town of Smithtown's Planning Board will host its only meeting in September on Wednesday from 8 pm. - 10 p.m. at the senior citizen center on Middle Country Road.
Fundraiser for Alivia Holmes
A community fundraiser is being held on Thursday for Alivia Holmes, who at age 16 was paralyzed from the diaphragm down, to purchase a new handicapped van. The event will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Smithtown Landing.
