Credit Card Stolen In Kings Park Used At Gas Station: Police

The credit card was stolen from a wallet left in an unlocked vehicle, police say.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY ā€” Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said used a stolen credit card at a gas station in Port Jefferson last month.

A man used a stolen credit card at Sunoco, at 240 Terryville Road, on July 20, police said. The credit card was stolen from a wallet in an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in Kings Park earlier that day, police said. The man who used the stolen card drove a white BMW with damage to the driverā€™s side door, police said. He is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
