Man Stole Dump Truck Holding $40K In Equipment In Kings Park: Police

The truck and trailer were recovered, but the equipment was gone, police say.

KINGS PARK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said stole a dump truck and the equipment inside its trailer in January.

A man stole a 2002 Hino dump truck and attached trailer containing more than $40,000 in landscaping equipment from 150 Townline Road around 4 a.m. Jan. 15, police said. Police recovered the truck and trailer, which was empty, a short time later in Ronkonkoma, police said. The man is wanted for grand larceny.
