Mental Health Walk Takes Place Sunday At Sunken Meadow

The event also features raffles and an obstacle course.

KINGS PARK, NY — The National Alliance on Mental Health is holding an event this weekend at Sunken Meadow State Park.

More than 25 tables will offer resources for families dealing with mental health issues.

But the day also features an obstacle course and a children's fun area. Narcan training is be shown at Sunday's event.

Those in attendance can participate in raffles with prizes that include two nights in Montauk and gift baskets for the home.

Registration is required and begins at 9 a.m., or you can pre-register online.

The 1.5 mile walk starts at noon and runs until 2 p.m. in the park.
