School Officials Present 2012-13 Audit, Education Updates

Kings Park residents have the chance to gain a greater understanding of their school district's financial status on Tuesday night. 

Kings Park Board of Education will host their first public meeting of October at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Kings Park High School's Room 101. Their agenda includes the 2012-13 Audit and Educational Updates. 

The first presentation on the agenda for Tuesday night is a review of the 2012-13 Independent Audit performed by y Nawrocki Smith, LLP. The audit will give an overview of the Kings Park Central School Districti's financial status, budgeting and advice for improving future years. 

Superintendent Susan Agruso and the student council are expected to present the latest educational updates from the school's classrooms before the Board of Education and district parents on Tuesday night. 

Maryann Pavese will give a presentation on the latest information from the Kings Park Educational Foundation to school board trustees.
