Teenage E-Bike Rider Seriously Injured In Suffolk Crash
A Honda driver was turning onto a road when he struck a 14-year-old on an e-bike, police say.
KINGS PARK, NY — An e-bike rider was seriously injured in a collision with a motor vehicle in Kings Park on Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
A 23-year-old Kings Park man was driving a 2015 Honda CR-V and turning onto the eastbound lane of Pulaski Road when he struck a westbound Ridstar e-bike in front of 152 Pulaski Road at 3:47 p.m., police said.
The e-bike rider, a 14-year-old Kings Park boy, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. The driver was not injured, police said.
