• Route 311 in Lake Carmel and Patterson to undergo re-surfacing (midhudsonnews.com) — Expect a smoother drive on Route 311 next summer, as the state is funding a $4.7 million resurfacing from Route 52 in Lake Carmel to the Empire State Trail in Patterson. Local and state officials say the project will improve safety and reliability on this heavily traveled link between the Carmel–Lake Carmel area and I-84.
